7099 Isphahan 10 ft 8 x 14 ft 4 in (325 X 438)

One of the most magnificent examples of Persian artistry ever produced; this rug was produced in the famed Ahmad workshop of Isfahan during the second quarter of the twentieth century.

The intricate detail of this extremely fine rug reminds the art connoisseur of period Persian miniatures.  The central medallion is most probably based on the ceiling design of the Isfahan Mosque.

This elegant rug stands out as the best in its class and should be viewed with reverence.
