THE Booth Theme was Animal Depictions in Carpets

Animals, both fantasy and real are featured in this wonderful Farahan Sarouk
An unusual Melas (3839) with Christian symbols is featured
Featured on the wall is a Finnish carpet (12069) with reindeers and a French rug (3313) made for the original Art Deco exhibition in 1925
Chinese Dragon rug (3203)
Two wonderfully bold rugs, a Romanian flat weave from the 1940’s or ’50s (3430) and a Persian Gabbeh (4333)
Phenomenal Bakhshayesh (4007) was featured in the lecture space
The back side of our booth housed our collection of Heriz and Serapi rugs; on the wall is an unusual room size Serab (4386), on the floor is an 18th century Chinese runner
Gary Seargent used our humongous Oushak (4356) in his booth
Our Art Nouveaux Axminster rug (3226) looks great in the Antique Wicker booth
MS Rau’s booth had many of our rugs own the floor, here are a couple of examples

Our booth featured some Persian village and tribal rugs, as well as the exceptional modernist piece in blue. The left side of our booth featured A Tibetan rug on one wall and a Swedish one on the other.
